Lily was born and raised in Central Indiana where she attended the Indiana University School of Social Work and earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work. Prior to pursuing her Master’s degree, Lily earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

Lily is committed to bringing a strengths-based and non-judgmental heart to every therapy session, displaying unconditional positive regard for all the clients she serves. She is also committed to serving diverse populations, and recognizes the impact of race, ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation upon mental health.

Experience and Training

Lily is passionate about partnering with individuals with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and trauma. Lily has specialized training in perinatal mood disorders, and enjoys partnering with individuals trying to conceive, as well as pregnant and postpartum people. She strives to join clients on their healing journey, walking alongside them as they find the courage to heal. Lily’s ultimate goal is to empower clients to find a sense of peace, confidence, and strength. 

Lily has experience providing psychotherapy for adults, teenagers, and children with symptoms of PTSD, anxiety disorders, and depression. In her psychotherapy work, Lily has provided services to survivors of interpersonal violence, sexual assault, and childhood sexual abuse. Lily has experience working with individuals struggling with infertility, miscarriage, birth trauma, and postpartum depression/anxiety. She also commonly works with individuals with relationship concerns.

Lily is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing) and also utilizes other evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy. Lily has completed the Perinatal Mood Disorders: Components of Care and Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy training through Postpartum Support International. Lily enjoys providing therapy from an attachment-based perspective.

Just For Fun

Lily enjoys hiking and being outdoors. Lily has visited the majority of the Indiana State Parks, and has made a new goal of visiting different National Parks across the United States. Lily has two huskies at home, who absorb much of her free time with walks and play! Lily is an avid reader, and is never without a book on her. Lily enjoys crafting and DIY projects, and almost always has a fun project going at home.
